Teresa Noria

Teresa Noria is the CEO, Program Manager and founder of A Heart of Gold, HCS. She is loving, caring and passionate about advocating and protecting individuals with intellectual disabilities. She has a passion for the care her company provides and she truly believes A Heart Of Gold, HCS can make a difference in many lives. Her interests is to assure that each individual has dignity and respect in their lives. 

Since 2009 to present time, Teresa has worked in many home & community based services programs where she was able to services individuals with intellectual disabilities. She was able to educate them and their families about the program services. Her responsibilities and duties were to evaluate and determine needs of each individuals, and taking action to protect the individual's health and safety. She was responsible for the care and supervision of 100 individuals in the program and was responsible for overseeing the entire staff, both professional office staff and the direct care home staff.

Teresa Noria was born and raised in Houston, TX, she has lived all her life here. She is a proud Houstonian. Teresa has a huge heart when it comes to providing services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, especially when it comes to making sure each individual's rights are respected in their everyday life living environment and also when individuals are out in their community. 

Her goal is to make sure each consumer is living in a safe, healthy and good environment. Intellectual individuals hold a special place in her heart, and her goal is to help each individual and their family achieve his or her full potential. Teresa then came to realize that she will devote her career and life to continue providing services for people with intellectual disabilities, and has never regretted that decision.
